BURNING MAN IN BIRMINGHAM

Pop round to The Bull Ring after sunset until October 8th and you’ll be serenaded by sound and light from a striking piece of projection-mapping 3D art.

Opened last week on Thursday evening, Taurus Geodesica, or Disco Bull Head as it’s been lovingly nicknamed, is something of a coup for Birmingham and The Bull Ring, designed by none other than Josh Harker, the artist behind the Shogyo Mujo Skull at Burning Man 2014.

As part of getting locals and visitors involved, a £50 Bull Ring gift voucher is being given away every day to the winner of Best Selfie; simply snap yourself with Disco Bull Head, tag your picture with, you guessed it,  #DiscoBullHead and post it online.

The 15ft light installation will be coming to life every evening, from dusk till late, until its finale on Student Night.
