The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists actively encourages the novice, aspiring or curious creative, so you don’t need to know your arts from your elbow.
For director Marie Considine and crew, the location on St Paul’s Square is a delight, and many of the RBSA’s founding artists have strong links with the Square.
‘It really feels like home,’ Marie says, ‘and our gallery really is for everyone; local residents, people who work here or visitors. Pop in – buy a gift in the craft gallery, bring the children (or yourself) to a workshop, or enter your piece into an ‘open’ exhibition – your picture might be on the wall next time you’re here!’
